Venice, Italy

Once in Venice, St. Marks Basilica is hard to miss and trust me, you don’t want to. St. Marks Basilica was built several hundred years ago and has become a tourist attraction as well as a place that locals go to find peace. St. Marks Basilica is known for its gothic architecture which features numerous columns, arches and spires which help support the churches’ 5 domes. Although this alone seems beautiful, the true beauty lies in the golden mosaics that line the walls of the church.

Geneva, Switzerland

Another huge reason to travel to Geneva is the food. When you think of Swiss food, Chocolate automatically comes to mind, then the well-known Swiss cheese. That’s not all the country has to offer when it comes to food. The countries food is known to be extremely rich and tends to use a lot of cream ingredients which can be difficult for someone with a weak stomach. Once you get past that, you will have some of the best meals you have ever had. One of Geneva’s top dishes is called rösti which is grated potatoes fried on both sides and then formed into pancakes.

Geneva, Switzerland

If you’re planning a vacation to Switzerland, Geneva is a must see city. Geneva is located on the southern end of the country and is bodied by Lake Geneva. The views in Geneva, along the lake are stunning. While looking out at the lake, you will be able to see a once in a lifetime view of the Geneva water fountain, known as the Jet d’eau. Eight 9,000-watt projectors light the fountain column every evening as it launches water into the night sky. The Jet d’eau has become the symbol of Geneva and a top tourist attraction for the city.
