Madrid, Spain

People who have been to Madrid say it is the best place to have a real cultural experience when it comes to food. The city is so diverse when it comes to eating and restaurants but you will definitely find traditional Spanish food that you’ve probably never even heard of. One of the most infamous dishes is called Gazpacho, which is a cold tomato soup that the original Spaniards would eat. The city has numerous traditional restaurants but don’t be scared; they have more modern day food as well. This website shows some of the top Spanish dishes and what to expect during a meal in Madrid.

  1. I went to Spain in 2010. I was only able to pass through Madrid on my way to Seville and Cordoba, but I must say, just looking at that city was a cultural experience. I did eat Gazpacho, which is DELICIOUS! If you are looking for more international cities to write about, Seville is one with a really rich culture. I went during Easter time, when they have La Semana Santa fesitvals, which are amazing! You should look them up.
